A search resumed Saturday in Armstrong County for a 3-year-old boy who went missing along the Allegheny River Friday afternoon.

Water rescue teams were expected to join the search along the river in Bethel Township.

The boy and his family had reportedly been camping in the area. The search began Friday but was called off after thunderstorms moved through the area at night.

Numerous fire and police departments are assisting in the search.
