Power goes out across Butler County after thunderstorms
More than 1,800 Butler County customers of West Penn Power lost electricity during a storm Tuesday afternoon.
According to the company's outage center, Middlesex Township had the majority of outages, with more than 1,600 customers affected around 3 p.m. Butler Township had about 150 customers without power at 3 p.m.
The company estimated that power would be restored around 5:30 p.m.
