I-79 South right lane closed in Cranberry
CRANBERRY TWP — PennDOT on Monday announced a right-lane closure on Interstate 79 southbound in Cranberry Township beginning 7 a.m. Tuesday and stretching through 8 p.m. Saturday.
The right lane on southbound I-79 between mile markers 84 and 81 will be closed as crews work to repair the bridge deck. Included in the affected areas are the Evans City/State Route 528 exit, at mile marker 85, and the Cranberry/Mars exit at mile marker 78.
The restriction is necessary as Mekis Construction repairs the roadway.
