Glenn Stoops

Glenn Edward Stoops, 70, of Renfrew, passed away on Tuesday, July 6, 2021, at Sunnyview Nursing and Rehabilitation Center.

He was born July 19, 1950, in Butler, and was the son to John Stoops and Reba McCandless Stoops.

Glenn was a member of St. Andrew’s United Presbyterian Church. He graduated in 1968 from Butler High School. Glenn attended BC3 and Case Western Reserve, formerly Case Institute of Technology, where he was in the Theta Ki Fraternity. He worked as a draftsman for Thomas Machine Company. Glenn enjoyed doing crossword puzzles, reading and golfing.

In addition to his parents, Glenn is also survived by one brother, Randy (Donna) Stoops of Renfrew; one sister, Vicki (Jeff) Cessna of California; and four nieces and nephews.

Stoops — Friends and family of Glenn Edward Stoops, who died Tuesday, July 6, 2021, may call from 11 a.m. until 2 p.m. Friday at the Thompson - Miller Funeral Home, 124 East North St. Butler for visitation.

A funeral service will be held following the visitation at 2 p.m. with Pastor Dan Ledford of Westminster P.C.A., officiating.

Glenn will be laid to rest next to his beloved grandmother, Bernice Miller, at Greenlawn Burial Estates.

Memorials are suggested to the Sunnyview Nursing and Rehabilitation Center, 107 Sunnyview Circle, Butler, PA 16001.
