Aug. 3 — Police charged Joshua Scott Sunday, 38, of Prospect, with retail theft in relation to events on May 21.Police said Sunday had been exhibiting erratic behavior at a Sheetz in Evans City, circumventing a line to get to the counter, and licking his container of ice cream along the way. He was caught on camera taking other items valued at a little under $7.50.

Aug. 2 — Police charged Raymond George Carter, 36, of Natrona Heights, with simple assault and harassment.Police accused Carter of continuous domestic violence against his girlfriend from July 30 through Aug. 1. He allegedly grabbed her by her face, held her against the bed, hit and kicked her, and at one point hit her so hard she fell from the bed and hit her head on a piece of furniture.July 29 — Police charged Gary J. Palacios, 42, of McKees Rocks, with harassment of family.Police said Palacios had repeatedly called his mother, leaving voice mails containing profanity. Voice mails were left from the hours of 8 a.m. until 10 p.m. from June 10 through July 18.July 29 — Police charged Elexa Renee Duriez, 22, of Pittsburgh, with DUI and careless driving in relation to an incident July 16.Police said officers responded to calls for a vehicle driving over raised medians in an active construction zone. Construction workers told the officers the vehicle had driven over the median to the wrong side of the road and on the sidewalk before parking on a traffic island.Police found Duriez driving the vehicle, and performed standard field sobriety tests, and she agreed to a blood test, which allegedly revealed a BAC of .234 percent.July 28 — Police charged Richard Justin Klear, 42, of New Brighton, with retail theft in relation to an incident on April 30.Police said Walmart advised that someone, later identified as Klear, had left the store with two action figure-type figurines without paying. Police initiated a traffic stop on Klear, which recovered two figurines determined at a value of about $55.Further investigation allegedly found that Klear also took three action figurines from Cranberry Township Target on April 30 that were valued at about $90.July 28 — Police charged Jennifer Roncevich, 42, of Zelienople, with DUI and careless driving in relation to an incident May 30.Police said Roncevich admitted to driving a vehicle that rear-ended a Mack truck near Freedom Valley. Police said they detected an odor of an alcohol beverage emanating from Roncevich's car, and she underwent standard field sobriety tests.A blood test allegedly revealed she had a BAC of .296 percent.July 27 — Police have charged Jesse Tyler Noble, 26, of Murrysville, with conspiracy and retail theft from a Lowe's Home Improvement.Police said Noble entered the store and loaded $1,891-worth of merchandise in a shopping cart, and hid much of it using plastic tote bags. He also used wire cutters to cut and disable a cable securing a power tool to a display stand. He then ran from the store to the parking lot and loaded the merchandise into a vehicle before getting in and driving off.

Aug. 3 — Police charged Samuel Aaron Bellis, 24, of Butler, with terroristic threats and simple assault in relation to an incident July 22.A woman gave a written statement to officers that said Bellis had threatened her and her daughter with a handgun, saying he would kill the daughter with it on July 22.July 30 — Police charged William Jerrell Hoston, 46, of Crafton, Maryland, with driving under the influence of marijuana.Police said an officer observed a vehicle driven by Hoston had traveled at speeds of up to 102 miles per hour on U.S. 422 on May 29.A toxicology report allegedly indicated Hoston was under the influence of variants of THC.
