Man accused of aggravated assault, being drunk in June crash
Cranberry Township Police issued felony charges against an 18-year-old teen they said was intoxicated during a June vehicle crash.
"The crash scene consisted of two vehicle with one vehicle overturned," said the investigating officer in the affidavit.
Jaren D. Thimons of Sewickley is charged with two felony counts of aggravated assault by vehicle and a three misdemeanor counts related to DUI. According to documents, this would be Thimons first-offense, if he's found guilty.
According to charging documents, police were dispatched around 2:28 a.m. June 6 to a two-vehicle crash on Route 228 at its intersection with the Interstate 79 North off-ramp.
