PITTSBURGH — The Pittsburgh Pirates have traded right-handed pitcher Clay Holmes to the New York Yankees for infielders Hoy Jun Park and Diego Castillo.

Park, 25, is hitting .327 in leading the Class AAA East League in batting. He is hitting a combined .307 with 10 doubles, and 11 home runs in 58 games between Class AA Somerset and AAA Scranton-Wilkes Barre this year.

Castillo has spent all of the 2021 season with Class AA Somerset and is hitting .277 with 18 doubles and 11 homers.
