Bednar, Giants agree on contract
SAN FRANCISCO — Mars graduate and Mississippi State right-hander Will Bednar, selected 14th overall by the San Francisco Giants in the MLB draft, signed with the National League team Friday.
Bednar agreed to a $3.65 million signing bonus, $386,800 below slot value.
