Brown gets win despite 11-1 odds

WASHINGTON, Pa. — Slippery Rock resident Brady Brown drove Rock Garden to victory despite 11-1 odds in harness racing action Wednesday at The Meadows.

The freshman filly won in only her second career start in the $6,800 event.

Brown won two more races Thursday, leading Poker Play to victory in a $9,500 Conditioned Trot and That's My Girl to triumph in an $8,900 Conditioned Trot.

Elsewhere on Thursday's card, trainer Nathan Bresnahan of Butler won with Lima Gold in a $9,800 Conditioned Trot.
