Richard and Linda Long of Evans City celebrated 50 years of marriage with a family dinner July 10 at Shakespeare’s Restaurant in Ellwood City.

Long married the former Linda Larkin on June 10, 1971, at the Evans City Baptist Church.

They have three children, Jeff Long of Evans City, Jill Matter of Cranberry Township and Jan Craig of Cranberry Township.

They also have four grandchildren.

Long is a retired real estate agent.

Mrs. Long has been a nurse for more than 50 years and currently works at Life Butler.
