JACKSON TWP — The Seneca Valley School District is in the process of organizing a Veteran Recognition Day during the first official Raider home football game Sept. 3.

The district wishes to recognize veterans and active military personnel who live in the Seneca Valley School District.

At 6 p.m., veterans will join the football team in the locker room to adhere American Flag stickers to the player helmets. During a pre-game ceremony at 7 p.m., those veterans will gather on the NexTier Stadium track and be recognized for their service.

Veterans and a guest will receive free admission, special seating and parking accomodations for the game.
