Twenty-one years seems life forever

Twenty-one years seems like just yesterday.

Your face I see

Your laughter I don’t hear

Your hugs I don’t feel.

Although I know that you are watching,

It is not the same without you here

To share in all the joys

And to help us through the difficult times.

There seems to be more difficult times these days

And it sure would be nice to have you here

To help Pappy through his hard days.

We continue to miss each day we have lost

With you since you left

But you are keeping us all going,

Even from afar.

There are times I feel so alone and all I have to do

Is think of you - ask for your guidance and support

And you are there for me.

Until we meet again Mom.
