To mark its “Very Covenant Summer,” Covenant Presbyterian Church, 230 E. Jefferson St., will have a series of events.

They are:

1 to 3:30 p.m. July 10, open house with ice cream social fundraiser, tours of the sanctuary and Underground Railway Museum, and music performances;

3 to 5 p.m. July 17, Music on the Lawn, featuring an eclectic group of musicians. Take a lawn chair. A refreshment stand will be open. A donation is suggested;

July 24, July 31 and Aug. 7, movie nights at dusk with titles and times available on the church website or Facebook page. Take a lawn chair, bug spray and FM radio to hear the sound. Admission is charged;

1 to 3:30 p.m. Aug. 14, an open house featuring music from Harmony Hot Haus, ice cream social fundraiser, and tours of the sanctuary and Underground Railway Museum.
