GLENSHAW — See a region of space where stars are being born, catch dazzling view the brightest planet, Venus, among other wonders as part of the July Star Parties sponsored by the Amateur Astronomers Association of Pittsburgh.

Star Parties start at 8:45 p.m. July 16 and 17 at the Nicholas E. Wagman Observatory in Deer Lakes Regional Park, Frazer Township, Allegheny County.
