Randy Hoover
Randy L. Hoover, 72, of Zelienople, passed away on Thursday, June 3, 2021, in the comfort of his home.
Born Nov. 28, 1948, in Grove City, he was the son of the late Martin V. Hoover and Ella Castor Hoover.
Randy proudly served our country in the 173rd Airborne Brigade and as part of the U.S. Army Special Forces during the Vietnam War. He worked as a truck driver for over 40 years until his retirement from PNM Trucking. He was a Methodist by faith.Randy belonged to several organizations, including the Zelienople American Legion Post 474, VFW Post.499 of Evans City, where he was a lifetime member, and Moose Lodge 957 of Harmony. Above all, Randy was a loving husband, father, brother, uncle and friend, who will be dearly missed by all who knew him.He leaves behind to cherish his memory his wife, Annabelle McMurdo Eichler; his sons, David and Todd Hoover; Annabelle's sons, Keith and Lewis Eichler; his brothers, Mike (Vivian) Hoover, Rick (Dianne) Hoover, and Marty (Karen) Hoover; his sister, Lori Hoover Farris, and numerous nieces and nephews.Hoover — A gathering for friends of Randy L. Hoover, who died Thursday, June 3, 2021, will be held from 12 p.m. until the time of the Celebration of Life service at 1 p.m. Saturday, at Boylan Funeral Home, 324 E.
