In its first large-scale community event since the COVID-19 pandemic began, Seven Fields will host its 11th annual Community Days Carnival this week.

From 6 p.m. to close Thursday and Friday, and 3 p.m. to close Saturday, the carnival will be host to rides, games, food and fun, with fireworks on Saturday.

Borough manager Tom Smith said the lack of community events since 2019 will likely have an impact on how many people attend.

“This will be the first event that Seven Fields has held since pre-COVID and, again, I think there's a lot of excitement building for the event,” he said.

With a new carnival company from Mt. Pleasant, the carnival will also feature live music each day, with Shelley Duff on Thursday, Dancing Queen on Friday and Velveeta on Saturday, each from 6 to 10 p.m. Adult beverages will also be provided by two local businesses.

In terms of food, the options include funnel cakes, hot sausage, popcorn, sno-cones and deep-fried Oreos.

Ticket prices are $3 for a single ride or $20 to ride all day.
