West Sunbury defeats Freeport
Winning pitcher Shane Thompson allowed three runs in six innings and collected three hits himself as West Sunbury defeated Freeport, 16-5, in recent Butler County Area Baseball League play.
Mason Mershimer had three doubles and a walk, Thompson two singles, a double and walk for West Sunbury.
Losing pitcher Joe Hotalski had a double and single for Freeport.
