Armco Credit Union will host a free child safety check event from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. Monday at the Mars branch near the Route 228-Myoma Road intersection.

A certified safety seat technician will install child safety seats or double check to ensure the seat is installed correctly.

Personnel from Quality EMS of Mars will conduct the checks. An ambulance will also be on display.

No appointment is necessary. Child checks are free.
