STRATTANVILLE — Moniteau will take on District 10 runner-up Union City (20-1) in the first round of the PIAA Class 2A softball tournament at 4 p.m. Monday at Clarion-Limestone.

Union City won a sub-regional game over Upper Dauphin, 4-0, to advance to the state tourney.

WASHINGTON, Pa. — Slippery Rock resident Brady Brown picked up two more wins during harness racing action Thursday at The Meadows.Brown guided Casey T to victory in a Claiming Handicap Trot, then led Ideal Woman to victory in a $9,500 Conditioned Pace.On Friday's card, Your Mom N Em, trained by Robert Krentisky, Jr., and owned by Julie Krenitsky, both of Butler, won a $6,300 Conditioned Claiming Pace.
