Union High School Graduation
The commencement ceremony for Union High School was at 7 p.m. June 2 at the high school football field.
The student speakers were
Brock Jordan, valedictorian, and
Paige DeHart, salutatorian.
Brock is the son of Jason and Staci Jordan of Rimersburg.He was a member of the basketball and baseball teams, president of the National Honor Society and the senior class, and was involved in the prom committee, Student Council and the Sports Club.He plans to attend Clarion University with the goal of becoming a financial adviser.
Paige is the daughter of Jerrold and Mandy DeHart of Rimersburg.She was on the prom committee and was marching band manager.She plans to take a year away from school to train to become supervisor at Sligo University Corner before going on to college, where she will pursue a bachelor's degree in funeral directing.Class officers are <b>Brock Jordan,</b> president; <b>Isaac Solida,</b> vice president; <b>Caitlyn Buchanan,</b> secretary; and <b>Karter Vogle,</b> treasurer.
