Three Butler County teams will be in PIAA quarterfinal playoff action Saturday.

North Catholic boys volleyball faces Meadville at 6 p.m. Friday at Cochranton High School in the 2A tourney.

In lacrosse, both Mars teams will be involved in a Class 2A doubleheader Saturday at State College High School. The Planet boys (20-0) will face Trinity at noon, followed by Mars’ girls (17-3) against Strath Haven at 2 p.m.

In Class 3A boys volleyball, Seneca Valley (19-3) will take on Upper Dublin at Bald Eagle High School at 6 p.m. Saturday.
