BUTLER TWP— Butler resident and former Golden Tornado basketball coach Joe Lewandowski is in Graz, Austria, tutoring the first-ever USA Olympic 3x3 men’s basketball team.

This week’s competition in Austria is the Olympic qualifier. There are 20 teams divided into four groups with the top three advancing to Tokyo to compete in the Olympics.

Lewandowski has guided USA men’s and women’s 3x3 teams to three gold medals in events around the world.
