BUTLER TWP — Butler County Community College golfer Sarah Fischer shot a career-best 95 recently to win the women’s division of the Community College of Allegheny County Invitational.

She joined fellow Freeport graduate and older sister Julia Fischer as the only two female golfers to win a postseason tournament in Bill Miller’s 18 years as head coach.

Julia Fischer is now a member of the Clarion University women’s golf team.
