Girls entering kindergarten through 12th grade in the fall of 2021 are invited to join the community’s Girl Scouts.

Families interested in registering are invited to a free outdoor signup at Windy Knob Pavilion on Moraine State Park’s South Shore from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. May 22.

The event will feature activities from Girl Scouts’ popular Get Outdoors Challenge, including yoga, outdoor games and other family fun ways to enjoy the outdoors.

Girl Scouts is offering an extended-year, discounted membership option available to those who join as new members before July 31. For more information about this offer, visit gswpa.org/exclusive.

Adult volunteers are needed for all age levels, too. All training will be provided for volunteers, so previous experience in youth organizations or the outdoors is not necessary. Volunteers must be age 18 or older and able to obtain clearances and a background check.
