ZELIENOPLE — A fundraiser to benefit an orphanage in Kenya will run from 5 to 9 p.m. Thursday at Laser Tek, 323 S. Main St.

There will be music by This That and the Other Thing, entertainment by fire walkers, food and drinks, and a basket auction.

All proceeds go to Teri Spence, bar manager of the Kaufman Tavern, who is going on a mission trip to the House of Hope orphanage in Kandaria, Kenya. She is raising money to build an playground for the orphanage.
