4:56 p.m. May 1 — Police responded to a one-vehicle crash on Interstate 79 North near mile marker 82. According to police, Amie E. Donahue, 37, of Pittsburgh, received written warnings for causing the crash by falling asleep at the wheel. Police said the vehicle drove off the road and flipped. Donahue and a 9-year-old boy suffered minor injuries in the crash. Another 9-year-old boy was uninjured. All three were taken to UPMC Children's Hospital in Pittsburgh.2:30 a.m. May 1 — State police are looking for information about a report of criminal mischief between 2:30 a.m. and 10:15 a.m. along New Castle Road in Franklin Township. Police said an unknown person damaged a vehicle in a parking lot by slashing three tires and smashing a rear window. Anyone with information is encouraged to contact police at 724-284-8100.12:28 a.m. April 28 — Police responded to a one-vehicle accident on North Main Street in Slippery Rock. Police said Ryan W. Mortimer, 26, of Sandy Lake, drove off the left side of the road and into a ditch. Mortimer was uninjured; however, his passenger, Allison M. Weber, 24, of Mercer, was taken to Grove City Medical Center with minor injuries. Mortimer was cited for the crash.
