These items were collected from various police departments:
April 26 — Joshua Erdner, 41, of Bakerstown, was charged with two counts of simple assault; two counts of harassment; and one count of disorderly conduct. Police said they received a call April 25 about an assault, and found that Erdner had pushed a woman against a wall, a couch and a coffee table after an argument. Police said Erdner struck a second person who was attempting to break up the fight.
April 23 — Ashley L. Martin, 29, of Pittsburgh, was charged with controlled substance possession, possession of drug paraphernalia and false identification, stemming from a April 22 traffic stop in Muddy Creek Township.Police said they stopped the vehicle for illegal tint. Police said Martin, a passenger, provided a false name during their investigation, and then police found heroin, needles and empty stamp bags around the passenger seat.April 22 — Kurt R. Kelly, 43, of Petrolia, was charged with a first-offense, controlled substance DUI stemming from a March 11 traffic stop on Route 422 in Butler Township.Police said they stopped Kelly for an illegal tint. They said Kelly appeared impaired during field sobriety tests, and later blood testing revealed multiple drugs in his system. A list of those drugs was not available in the affidavit.April 21 — Shane M. Schandelmeier, 25, of Prospect, was charged with a first-offense DUI after a one-vehicle crash Feb. 24 on Yellowcreek Road in Muddy Creek Township.Police said when they arrived at the scene, the driver, Schandelmeier, was being treated and loaded into an ambulance. Police said Schandelmeier admitted to drinking and being drunk.Police said a later blood test showed the suspect's blood-alcohol content at 0.232%. In Pennsylvania, a level of 0.08% is considered intoxicated.April 22 — Quinton K. Dalton, 24, of Prospect, was charged with a first-offense DUI stemming from a March 27 traffic stop on Kiester Road in Slippery Rock Township.Police said they stopped the vehicle for an illegal tint. Police said Dalton admitted to drinking before driving, and field sobriety tests indicated he was impaired.Police said a breath test showed Dalton's blood-alcohol content at 0.082%. In Pennsylvania, a level of 0.08% is considered intoxicated.April 24 — Rodney B. Basinger, 19, of Pittsburgh, was charged with illegally possessing a gun, carrying a gun without a license and reckless endangerment, among others stemming from an April 23 incident at the Grove Apartments in Slippery Rock.Police said they were called around 10:32 p.m. for a report of a person with a gun. A witness told police they saw a man who was drunk and flashing a gun.Police located Basinger and arrested him for public intoxication and disorderly conduct. Police then searched a satchel, which Basinger said wasn't his.The satchel contained a 9-millimeter pistol loaded with three rounds in the magazine and one in the chamber. It also contained Basinger's photo ID.April 22 — Dylan D. Koedel, 22, of Sarver, was charged with criminal mischief after an investigation that began April 9 at a Winfield Township home. Police said Koedel spun his tires in a way that threw rocks at another vehicle and caused more than $1,722 in damages.
