SRU's Collier gets PSAC honors
SLIPPERY ROCK — Slippery Rock University senior javelin thrower Danielle Collier has been named PSAC Women’s Field Athlete of the Week.
Collier won the event at the Bill Lennox Invitational with an NCAA automatic qualifying throw of 50.72 meters (166 feet, 5 inches), breaking the SRU record that stood since 2004. Her mark is No. 2 in all of NCAA Division II this season.
