SR's Kingerski re-sets javelin record

Josh Kingerski broke his own record in the javelin, unleashing a throw of 197 feet, 8½ inches as the Slippery Rock boys track and field team swept Hickory (81-68) and Commodore Perry (128-19) Tuesday afternoon.

Kingerski's previous record was 190-7.

The Slippery Rock girls also earned a sweep over Hickory (79-71) and Commodore Perry (117-21).

Anna Kadlubek and Maryann Ackerman each won three events for the Rockets.
