College Notes

Cody Schnur (Butler) had 13 kills in Penn State Behrend's 3-2 men's volleyball loss to Hiram in the AMCC championship match.

Frank Cinicola (Seneca Valley) had a big doubleheader for Westminster's baseball team in a split with Bethany. He had two hits in the first game, a 2-1 loss, and three hits in the 8-1 win in the nightcap. Cinicola collected a home run, triple, double and three RBI.

Dana Logue (Union) had a team-high 10 tackles in Westminster's 24-17 football victory over Grove City.

Justin Stewart (Butler) had a triple and scored a run in California, Pa.'s, 9-6 baseball win over Mercyhurst.

Hunter Jones (Karns City) won the 400 meters for Grove City at the Thiel Invitational. He ran the event in 51.13 seconds.

James Parenti (Moniteau), a sophomore nose tackle for Grove City, had nine tackles in the Wolverines' 24-17 loss to Westminster.

Dalton Anderson (Moniteau) won the javelin for Grove City at the Thiel Invitational with a personal-best throw of 59.00 meters (193 feet, 7 inches). He also took second in the 110-meter hurdles and third in the discus.

Cami McNany (A-C Valley) had a double, two singles and three RBI in the second game of Penn State Behrend's softball doubleheader sweep of Pitt-Greensburg, a 12-2 victory.

Ashleigh Schmidt (Freeport) had a triple in the game.

Ryan Greer (Seneca Valley) netted five goals in Westminster's 20-6 men's lacrosse win over Bethany.
