Bresnahan 70th anniversary
Michael and Sally Bresnahan of Butler celebrated 70 years of marriage with a family dinner. A Mass in their honor will be celebrated April 14 at St. Paul Roman Catholic Church in Butler.
Bresnahan married the former Sally Hoover on April 14, 1951, at St. Paul Roman Catholic Church in Butler.
They have six children, Larry Bresnahan, David Bresnahan, Sherry Rodgers, Patricia Colosimo, Michele Henry and Holly Martin.
They also have 12 grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.
Bresnahan retired from Zelie Consumer Discount Co. after 25 years.
He is a lifetime member of VFW Post 249 in Butler.
He enjoys playing cards, watching golf, cheering for the Steelers and spending time with his family.
Mrs. Bresnahan is a homemaker.
She enjoys playing cards, watching the Hallmark Channel, breakfast at Panera Bread with her friends that are more like sisters and spending time with her family.
The Bresnahans are members of St. Andrew Roman Catholic Church.
