A Butler man was flown by helicopter to the hospital after an early morning crash Wednesday.

According to a news release by Butler Township Police, Franklin Elliot, 22, suffered a traumatic head injury after he crashed his Ford F-150 around 12:28 a.m. on the 200 block of Beech Road.

Police said a medical helicopter flew Elliot to Allegheny General Hospital for treatment.

Police are still investigating the incident.
