SLIPPERY ROCK — Slippery Rock University sophomore John Eakin and senior Danielle Collier have been named PSAC Field Athletes of the Week for track and field.

Eakin recorded the best shot put mark in the PSAC by more than three feet, his throw of 15.89 meters taking second at the Dave Labor Invitational.

Collier won the javelin in her SRU debut at the Dave Labor Invite. Her throw of 49.29 meters is third-best in the nation this spring.
