3 county athletes honored by PAC

Three former Butler County high school athletes have received a weekly award from the Presidents’ Athletic Conference.

Seneca Valley graduate Anna DeGraaf, a freshman middle blocker for Grove City College, has been named PAC Women’s Volleyball Offensive Player of the Week. She recorded 11 kills on 17 attacks and had five blocks in a 3-0 win over Chatham.

Freeport graduate Lauren Lampus, a freshman outside hitter for Westminster, is PAC Rookie of the Week. She had 12 kills and seven digs in a 3-1 win over Franciscan.

Moniteau graduate and Grove City sophomore James Parenti is PAC Field Athlete of the Week. He won the discus and took fifth in the shot put at the Geneva Golden Tornado Classic.
