SRU tennis star athlete of week
SLIPPERY ROCK — Slippery Rock University freshman Adriana Gonzalez Sanchez, from Moralzarzal, Spain, has been named PSAC West Women’s Tennis Athlete of the Week.
Gonzalez was 6-0 over three matches last week, including 3-0 at No. 2 singles and 3-0 at No. 1 doubles, teaming with Lois Page.
The Rock defeated Mercyhurst and Edinboro, two teams ranked among the top 10 in the Atlantic Region.
