DeMatteis earns pitcher of week
ERIE — Moniteau graduate and Gannon University senior pitcher Kennedy DeMatteis has been named PSAC West Softball Pitcher of the Week.
DeMatteis tossed back-to-back complete games in a doubleheader win at Slippery Rock. She allowed no earned runs, struck out eight and held opposing batters to a .146 average that day.
