Sentencing

Judge William Shaffer handed down the following sentences Thursday:

- Maurice C. Bingham, 58, of Evans City, was sentenced to one year of probation for recklessly endangering another person. Bingham was charged Oct. 5 and pleaded guilty March 15.

- Elijah Ty David, 28, of Pittsburgh, was sentenced to one to two years in jail for possession of heroin with the intent to deliver. David was charged Dec. 20, 2019, and pleaded guilty Feb. 22.

- Brian H. Sharpe, 28, no known address, was sentenced to 18 months of probation for simple assault. Sharpe was charged Nov. 1, 2019, and pleaded guilty March 29.

Shane A. Yates, 41, of Distant, was sentenced to five days to six months in jail, but immediately was paroled with the first 90 days on house arrest and a $1,000 fine for DUI and driving with a suspended license. Yates was charged Dec. 3, 2019, and pleaded guilty Feb. 22.

- Aubrey Mattern, 33, of Meadville, was sentenced to one year of probation for retail theft. Mattern was charged April 15, 2020, and pleaded guilty March 15.

- Daniell Leigh Rearick, 38, of Evans City, was sentenced to six to 12 months in jail for retail theft. Rearick immediately was paroled with the first six months on house arrest followed by 18 months of probation. Rearick was charged May 27, 2019, and pleaded guilty March 15.

- James J. Styen, 23, of Butler, was sentenced to six months of probation, a $300 fine and 25 hours of community service for DUI. Styen was charged Feb. 5, and pleaded guilty March 15.

- Elijah Woods Burnside, 19, of Emlenton, was sentenced to six months of probation with the first 14 days on house arrest, a $1,000 fine and 25 hours of community service. Burnside was charged Sept. 16, 2019, and pleaded guilty Feb. 1.

- Angela M. Crawford, 34, of Chicora, was sentenced to five years of probation with the first year on house arrest, a $2,500 fine and 150 hours of community service for driving under the influence and driving with a suspended license. Crawford was charged March 1 and pleaded guilty March 1.

- Brian Jackson Milbee, 38, no known address, was sentenced to nine to 23 and a half months in jail, a $500 fine, a $250 restitution order to the victim and a $2,323 restitution order to an insurance company for receiving stolen property and driving with a suspended license.
