CRANBERRY TWP — A motorcycle crashed near 20660 Route 19 at approximately 7:42 p.m. Tuesday, and sent two riders to the hospital via LifeFlight.

A man and a woman were flown to a hospital with injuries after they were thrown from a motorcycle in the two-vehicle accident.

Police said the motorcycle and a sport-utility vehicle collided at the intersection of Route 19 South and Progress Drive.

No one in the SUV was injured. Butler County dispatch said Cranberry Township Police, Cranberry Township Volunteer Fire Company and Cranberry Township EMS responded to the scene.

No other information was available as of press time.
