Moniteau’s baseball team opened the season Saturday with a pair of wins at the DuBois Central Catholic tournament.

The Warriors scored 10 runs in the seventh inning to defeat DuBois Central, 13-6. Mason Mershimer and Dawson Wallace had three RBI each while Keagan Book had three hits and two RBI.

Moniteau got past South Allegheny, 7-5, as Mershimer and Wallace both had two singles and an RBI.

Brock Matthews and Branson Carson were the winning pitchers.
