Butler grad Stutz named All-PAC

GREENVILLE — Geneva College senior and Butler graduate Joel Stutz has been named second team, All-Presidents’ Athletic Conference in men’s basketball.

Stutz averaged 15.9 points per game and made 36 3-pointers, shooting 40 percent from 3-point range.

Johnstons, Brown shine at Meadows

WASHINGTON, Pa. — Frankkiss, trained by Gary Johnston and driven by Shawn Johnston, both of Evans City, pulled off a 19-1 upset win in harness racing Friday at The Meadows.

The 3-year-old filly won a $6,900 Conditioned Trot.

Slippery Rock’s Brady Brown drove Outspoken an, trained by Nathan Bresnahan of Butler, to victory in a $4,900 Conditioned Claiming Pace.

Brown also won with Supreme Dumpling in a $5,700 Conditioned Claiming Pace.
