March 15 — Anthony J. Mastandrea, 28, of Pittsburgh, was charged with a first-offense DUI stemming from a March 13 traffic stop on Lilac Lane in Brady Township. According to charging documents, police stopped Mastandrea because his vehicle's registration was expired.Police said a field sobriety test indicated Mastandrea was impaired, and a later breath test indicated his blood-alcohol content to be 0.166%. Police said they arrested Vissari after his field sobriety tests showed signs of impairment, and he later submitted to a breath test, which showed his blood-alcohol content was at 0.137%. In Pennsylvania, a level of 0.08% is considered intoxicated.
