BRADENTON, Fla. — Mars graduate David Bednar continued his scoreless Grapefruit League streak with the Pittsburgh Pirates Tuesday, striking out the only batter he faced in the Bucs’ 1-0 win over the Minnesota Twins.

Bednar has worked 7.1 innings pitched this spring, allowing two hits while striking out 14 and walking one in eight appearances.

Adam Frazier homered for the game’s only run and is hitting .586 (17-for-29) this spring.
