Tuesday — William K. Franklin, 24, of Beaver Falls, was charged with misdemeanor disorderly conduct and possession of drug paraphernalia stemming from an incident March 2 at Best Western Plus in Cranberry Township. Police said the hotel received multiple complaints about a loud disturbance coming from Franklin's room, and they found Franklin argumentative and uncooperative.Franklin was detained on warrants from Allegheny and Beaver counties, and after his arrest, police found a pill bottle in the room. Police said the bottle contained a white crystalline substance that they suspect is narcotics.

March 15 — Julian F. Snyder, 19, of Grove City, was charged with a first-offense DUI stemming from a Jan. 28 traffic stop in a parking lot just off Fairview Drive. According to charging documents, police stopped Snyder because he drove the wrong way on Midway Alley before pulling onto Fairview Drive.Police said during the stop, Snyder pulled his car into a parking lot, but didn't stop, instead driving into a snow embankment. According to documents, Snyder told police she only had one drink that night.Police said a field sobriety test showed Snyder was impaired, and she later submitted a breath test that showed her blood-alcohol content at .142%. In Pennsylvania, a level of .08% is considered intoxicated.
