The American Cancer Society will have Daffodil Days from Monday through Saturday.

In Butler County, daffodils and tulips can be purchased from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Thursday, Friday and Saturday at the Butler Farm Market, 901 Evans City Road, Renfrew.

Preordered deliveries will be Wednesday and Thursday in Butler County.

District Attorney Richard Goldinger reminds residents that the county's 11 medication drop boxes are open.Goldinger said unwanted, unused or unneeded medications can be disposed of free at the drop boxes, where thousands of pounds of medication have been saved from water systems, landfills and even those with addiction issues.The box at the Butler Police Department is open 24 hours, and the Cranberry Township Police Department hours are 8 a.m. to 8 p.m. Mondays through Fridays.Other locations, which are open during regular business hours, are the Butler County Government Center lobby and the township police departments in Adams, Butler, Jackson, Lancaster and Penn.Boxes are also available in the Saxonburg, Slippery Rock and Zelienople police departments.
