CARES ACT FUNDS

At least 33 municipalities in Butler County received funds from the CARES Act. Twenty-nine of them responded to inquiries about their receipts. Based on information from the county and their responses, those municipalities received the following amounts:

Adams Township: $928,162.06

Brady Township: $3,064.07

Buffalo Township: $493,039.98

Butler City: $907,519.08

Butler Township is yet to respond

Callery Borough: $1,746.97

Cherry Township: $18,540.99

Chicora Borough: $977.67

Clay Township did not respond

Clinton Township: $151,163.74

Concord Township: $14,437.71

Connoquenessing Township: $2,016

Cranberry Township: $2,080,679.29

Evans City Borough: $127,090.45

Franklin Township: $8,377.76

Harmony Borough: $49,924.85

Harrisville Borough: $15,422.67

Jackson Township: $265,208.46

Jefferson Township: $3,331

Lancaster Township: $176,162.69

Marion Township: $7,359.19

Mars Borough: $76,014.60

Middlesex Township did not respond

Muddy Creek Township: $222.78*

Penn Township: $97,738.25**

Prospect Borough: $36,181.25

Saxonburg Borough: $105,518.65

Seven Fields Borough: $192,359.21

Slippery Rock Borough: $234,567.02

Slippery Rock Township: $10,135.75

Valencia Borough: $12,533

Winfield Township: $121,134.15

Zelienople Borough: $253,328.70

*Muddy Creek Township declined the disbursement of its allocated funds

**Penn Township’s figure includes only its disbursement for round one. It did not respond to repeated inquiries about how much it received in round two, although the township requested $87,046.23 from the county.
