SLIPPERY ROCK — Slippery Rock University junior catcher Connor Hamilton has been named the National Collegiate Baseball Writers Association’s Atlantic Region Hitter of the Week.

He has also been named PSAC West Athlete of the Week.

Hamilton hit .733 (11-for-15) in four games last week, scoring eight runs, collecting nine RBI and slamming two home runs. He is riding a 15-game hitting streak, dating back to last year.
