Nine fire departments responded to a fire on railroad tracks near Pinehurst Road in Center Township on Monday, March 15, 2021. The fire was called in at 2:19 p.m. by West Sunbury firefighter Frank McCall on his way back the station after another call. Fire fighters on scene said a passing train sparked a fire in nearby brush, which spread along the tracks.
