Moniteau High School will present their musical, “Sister Act,” on March 18 and 19 and two shows March 20.

Seating will be very limited.

The high school plans to provide a virtual streaming performance of the musical. For anyone wanting tickets or information about the virtual stream, call 724-290-6409.

The show is directed by Darcie Biship and produced by Jarrod Hull.

Naomi Wagner is in charge of costumes. Choreography is by Jackie and Kiera Thiry, set design by Bryan Dean, and props by Diane Hunter and Kathy Sutton.

Dorinda Aigner is the stage manager. Lawrence Baptiste is in charge of the sound, and William Weltman is the pit band director.

The show tells the story of when disco diva, Deloris Van Cartier, witnesses a murder and is put in protective custody in the one place the cops are sure she won't be a found: a convent!

Disguised as a nun, she finds herself at odds with both the rigid lifestyle and uptight Mother Superior.

Using her unique disco moves and singing talent to inspire the choir, Deloris breathes new life into the church and community but, in doing so, blows her cover.

Soon, the gang is giving chase, only to find themselves up against Deloris and the power of her newly found sisterhood.
