Police say no foul play in death
State police responded Friday to a home on Holben Lane, Clinton Township, for a man who had barricaded himself in his home.
According to a police report, state police were dispatched at 12:26 a.m. for a welfare check on a 50-year-old man living in that area.
The state police Special Emergency Response Team, or SERT, responded to the location because there were guns known to be in the home.
Multiple attempts were made to have the man exit the home on his own.
Members of SERT entered the home and found the man dead in his bedroom. Police said there is no indication of foul play.
