Robb will receive Purvis award
Mike Robb, the recipient of the 2020 Jean B. Purvis Community Cornerstone Award, will receive the award June 25 at a dinner at the Butler Country Club. The award dinner was canceled last year due to the COVID-19 pandemic.
The award was established by the Jean B. Purvis Community Health Center to annually honor a person who has made a significant contribution to the well-being of the Butler County community through their time, actions, talents and dedication.
Robb, of Cabot, is president and CEO of the Center for Community Resources, and executive director of Alliance for Nonprofit Resources, Nonprofit Development Corporation and Community Partnership.
Robb has more than 20 years of experience in the nonprofit sector, and oversees 600 staff members and 59 programs throughout Pennsylvania.
He was awarded the Pittsburgh Business Time's Most Admired CEO Award in 2016 as well as the Smart Business Greater Pittsburgh Smart 50 Award in 2014, and the Ernst & Young Entrepreneur of the Year for Western Pennsylvania and West Virginia in 2012.
He holds a bachelor of arts degree in psychology and philosophy from John Carroll University and a master of arts degree in psychology and counseling from Slippery Rock University.
Robb is a member of the Criminal Justice Advisory Board and the Hearing and Deaf Services of Allegheny and Westmorland Counties.
He spends his free time with his wife, Angie, and his four children, Emily, Caleb, Ian and Macrina. He also is a supervisor in Winfield Township, and a soccer coach at Knoch High School.

The Jean B. Purvis Community Health Center, located at 103 Bonnie Drive in Butler, is a nonprofit, community based volunteer organization established to provide primary health care and dental care to individuals who have no or limited health benefits and do not qualify for other services.
